PART IV | 10 Port Security

10.1 GENERAL

The Port of Jebel Dhanna Ruwais is governed by Critical Infrastructure & Coastal Protection Authority (CICPA) security measures.

It is the responsibility of port facility, port related area operators and port service providers where applicable within the security regulated Petroleum Ports to submit, via PPA, to the Higher Committee for UAE Civil Seaports and Airports Security (HCUCSAS), the Federal Transport Authority Land & Maritime (FTA) and the Department of Transport (DoT) maritime, security assessments in accordance with the requirements of the ISPS Code and associated regulations. Security plans are only approved by the HCUCSAS and are confidential to the operator of the facility.

Crew changes and delivery of stores/spares are generally not permitted except in emergencies and will all be subject to approval from CICPA.

10.2 PRESENT ISPS SECURITY LEVEL INFORMATION

An update on the Security level in the port of may be obtained from the Harbour Master.

10.3 REPORTING TO PORT FACILITES

Ships Pre-Arrival Security Information is required.

The relevant https://ppa.adnoc.ae/forms-and-downloads/forms-and-downloads/isps is to be sent to the Agent - Harbour Master together with the other pre-arrival documents.
