The rules and regulations in the port contribute to the safe, efficient and environmentally responsible handling of shipping. The international conventions of the IMO, such as SOLAS, MARPOL, IBC, IGC etc. and national regulations, are in force in the port. Furthermore, the Port Regulations are the "house rules" of the port.
Information about the applicable laws and regulations in the Port, including recent amendments, can be found at https://ppa.adnoc.ae/en/ports/das-zirku-mubarraz
The Harbour Master may forego the application of some provisions of specific regulations. A Craft Entry Permit is required for all crafts entering PPA administered areas. Permission (verbal or written) is required to be granted for special activities such as life boat drills, repairs and cleaning. A Marine Permit is a must for any Marine Projects within the Petroleum Ports.
For exemptions, permits and permissions, please contact the Harbour Masters Office.
